How it works

Chapter 7, Treasure Hunters mini-season

938 chests on the map, current season as of November 7, 2026

The site in action: the island map and the card of the chosen chest, with its location and grid square.

Find your Session ID

To look for a token, you need the Session ID of your match.

  1. Look at the top left

The Session ID shows in that spot of the game screen, as in the photo.

  2. Spot the long string

It’s the string of letters and digits to the right of the name.

Close-up of the top of the screen: a name, then to its right the Session ID, a long string of letters and digits.
Fortnite screenshot: a red arrow points to the box at the top left of the screen, which holds the Session ID, in front of a giant chest on a beach.

Three steps

From sign-up to chest, here is how to look for your token.

  1. Sign up for Token Finder

Create your account to start your searches.

  2. Enter the Session ID

Copy the long string of letters and digits shown at the top left of the game screen.

  3. Open the chest

    If the token is found

The card gives the location, grid square and type of the chest: all that’s left is to go there.

One map, 938 chests

Zoom, move around and spot every chest, square by square.

A search in progress: the chests already searched are grayed out on the island map.

Questions

What is the Fortnite Pirate Shop token?

A rare token hidden in chests during the Treasure Hunters mini-season. Once activated, it makes the Item Shop free for 14 days, with a few exclusions, once in 2026 and once in 2027. The guide covers what it unlocks and its dates.

Does the site know which chest holds the token?

Yes. The token is retrieved directly from the game logs, along with your session ID.

What does “Pirate token found” mean?

This means that our program found, by analyzing the logs, evidence of a token in the chest.

How is the chest chosen?

When you enter the session ID, Toke Finder gains access to live logs from Fortnite matches and can search for a match based on the presence of a token on the map.

Is this an official site?

No. This site is not affiliated with Epic Games. We find the logs on our own.

Do I need to pay or sign up?

The map, the chests page and the guide are free. Searching for a chest by Session ID requires paid access, paid once by card or crypto, with no automatic renewal. No account or password: your email address is enough.

What happens to a link after a season change?

The map will change and the old site will then be obsolete.
